Our House
The house is approached by a sweeping gravel drive bordered with lawns roses and evergreens. There is a large secluded rear garden; a quiet place to unwind and relax. The garden also has a secluded patio with furniture, a large fish pond and a summerhouse.
The Rosedale Suite
This suite is situated in the main house. The elegant four-poster room with en-suite Victorian style bathroom has easterly views to the river and southerly views looking towards woodland. Tea making facilities, colour television, video a hair dryer and some little extras are in your room. Laundry facilities are available.
Buccleuch Garden Suite.
Totally refurbished in 2007, this suite, now offers a large en-suite bathroom with separate bath and low level entry shower suitable for wheelchair users with assistance. Access is gained by either an internal door to the house or a separate external entry for disabled access. The room is available as a super-king double or a twin. Assistance dogs only are welcome in the Buccleuch.
Mansfield Room
This new room has a kingsize bed and an en-suite double shower. It is decorated in a more contemporary fashion of shades of cream and equipped with, modem facility TV/DVD, drinks fridge and tea making facilities.
Breakfast is served in the light and airy dining conservatory off the visitor lounge. Our breakfast menu is vast and varied and caters for all including special diets - made with locally sourced produce. A decked area outside allows tea and cakes to be served in seclusion.
Our lounge is the perfect place to relax after a long day on the hills or coast. It is beautifully furnished with leather Chesterfield and Terracotta armchairs. Just like our bedrooms you are assured of a comfortable 'home from home' during your stay with us.
Our garden at the rear of the property is open to all of our guests to relax in and take in the views of our beautiful countryside.
